Finished, Finito, Done

My son is a genius. I don't use the term lightly either because I have proof. He has a few words in his vocabulary plus he is now starting to sign those more complicated ones. Yep. He now signs with his little hand when he is done eating by waving it from left to right and right to left . It makes life easier for me since I don't need battle with him to eat what's left on his plate. When he signs that he's done I offer "dessert" which is usually fruit. Sometimes he'll bite, other times I get the hand wave, but we are starting to communicate.
